May CYAN Event

Interested in understanding more about San Diego's housing crisis, its far-reaching effects, and what can be done about it? Come to Civic Youth Action Network's (CYAN) in-person meeting on Sunday, May 19th at the Thurgood Marshall College Room in UC San Diego's Price Center! From 11:30 am - 1:30 pm, we will be discussing the foundational issues regarding housing affordability in the region, progress that has been made at various levels of government, and how we can organize and push our officials to truly address the crisis. There will also be smaller group discussions afterwards regarding the significance of housing justice on other important issues such as the environment, education, healthcare access, and more. Food, snacks, and drinks will be provided!
