March Against Gun Violence

Join us on March 14th, 2023 for a community rally and march against gun violence. In response to recent tragic and senseless acts of gun violence and a demonstrated interest from the San Diego community, we will be showing out at the San Diego Hall of Justice at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, March 14th. 

Youth, parents, elected and community leaders will speak prior and during our march in the downtown area to demand local action in gun violence prevention. It is not enough to be content with the current gun control legislation. We must push further. We must create a culture of gun safety and make an effort to reduce the number of guns present in our neighborhoods. We must stand together to show our leaders our strong desire for action. We need feet on the ground, not bodies. Join us.

WHY

March is a month of action. Later this month March For Our Lives will be holding marches nationwide. Everytown for Gun Violence, and their chapters of Students and Moms Demand Action will be doing the essential work of demanding legislation for common sense gun control and gun safety legislation at our state capitols. OTTA United hopes to provide the space for San Diegans to take action for gun violence prevention. That's why we are holding our Gun Violence Prevention Rally & March on 3/14. Let's join together to take action against gun violence, not only on the 14th but beyond. Rally with us, march with us, and then use your voice for all of the other amazing groups taking action later this month. Gun violence affects all of us, let's act together to stop it.
